Remember when I posted about my new Pinterest Challenge, I thought I would cook something? Well, I changed my mind after I looked at my pot rack:
I love my rack. I got it a couple of years ago from Amazon. I paid with Swagbucks Amazon codes and for $40 it was a great deal and a surprisingly amazing quality. The only problem is that my pots are not always in a perfect condition (to say it nicely...). So when I found this tip on Pinterest I got really excited. Just couldn't find the time to do it. But today I decided to tackle my favorite pot that I've had for years. Which is pretty obvious:
Yeah, I know, it's bad. To my defense, it's a pretty old pot, and it's been bugging me for a while. So I finally decided to try the "Pinned" solution. I mixed some baking soda with a few squirts of hydrogen peroxide until I got a nice paste. I actually liked the thinner paste better:
And then I went to work. Jill mentions that she uses just fingers, I had to scrub a little with a simple sponge. But let me tell you, I was amazed!! The results are really impressive. Check it out:
I love it!! My July Pinterest challenge was a definite success! I can't wait to clean all of my other pots and baking sheets.
