These are my favorite layering shirts and I just couldn't pass on the deal. They were only $3 each!!! Look at this pretty lace on the bottom!!
Total spent (w/tax) for all 4 shirts - $12.27
Total before sale (without tax) - $47.96!!
I'm not naked and I didn't really need new shirts right now but these are pretty much the only T-shirts I like and I would buy them later anyway but for the full price. And even though we blew our budget for clothes this month, honestly, we would've blown it anyway. The problem is that we regularly plan $50 a month and this month we did the same but I completely forgot about back-to-school shopping!! We are only about $20 over and I think I scored some great deals. On the other hand we almost grabbed a pizza today for lunch because I didn't have anything cooked but instead we chose to wait for extra 15 minutes and found some food in the fridge at home ( made tortillas filled with cheese and a salad). And that's at least $7 savings if we chose the cheapest pizza!
Did you get any good deals lately?
Such pretty shirts & a great deal! I got a great deal today as well! A brand new unopened yatzee Nightmare Before Christmas game for $5.00! :)
ReplyDeleteChristmas shopping is officially opened, huh? :)
DeleteYou scored awesome ... and look at the savings by buying them now then at regular price later. I got a whole bag of clothes for $4., as today was Bag Sale day at our local Sally Ann Store.
ReplyDeleteThis is great!! Nice savings for you too!
DeleteYou got a great deal on something you were going to buy anyway = score! A big part of budgeting is being flexible. Kudos to you on the having lunch at home, eating out is the huge budget sucker for us.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel too about budgeting! I know I will use these shirts for a long time, and I saved a lot of money that I would spend in a few months anyway.
DeleteWow that's a good deal!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle! I'm very pleased!
DeleteThat's too bad that you couldn't find a comforter cover. I got mine for $8 at Down East Home Outlet, but it's probably one of those 'timing is everything' things. Great deal on the shirts. I can never find my size in the colors I like.
ReplyDeleteI know you did!! And it looks great in your bedroom. That's why I even went there :) But they only had the fancy one in white for $135 :(
DeleteI have found decent selection good prices on comforters at Target.
ReplyDeleteGirl thats what I call spending savings!! What a deal, as you said you will need new shirts soon
