It was a gorgeous day today - slightly cloudy in the morning,bright-blue sky during the day, clear night... We really enjoyed it!
The last of these season's roses (that got covered with snow a few times already but still survived):
And a full moon:
Crazy, huh? Looks almost surreal. Love it!
We spent a quiet day together to restore, recuperate and prepare for, hopefully, a quiet week.
How was your Sunday??
What a beautiful day. I am surprised that you still have roses that have survived. None around here have and we aren't as cold as you are. BTW, I have camera envy. I can not get a good picture of the moon with mine. I mostly get a fuzzy dot.
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm surprised too!! They were completely covered with snow for a couple of days and still blooming. They are holding on to summer as much as I do :) I do need to prepare them for winter.
DeleteAnd a better camera was definitely an investment but I love it. I'm still learning how to use it though :) And your pictures are always great! But this is 88-100 times zoom :)
Awesome photos. I too enjoy photos of the moon like that, against such a dark sky that it looks like a cut-out.
ReplyDeleteyes, t does :)
DeleteGreat photos Lena! I didn't realize that you lived in view of the mountains...lucky you!
ReplyDeleteyes, we are surrounded by mountains almost everywhere! It's a bit high but a gorgeous place to live.
DeleteLove the pictures. Where do you live?
ReplyDeleteNorthern UT. Love it here! But I wish I could have an ocean here too :)
DeleteWow….its so weird to me that other people have snow….it was in the 70's here today. But thats Texas for ya!
