One more thing that I usually post on Mondays but I just never got to it yesterday. I was really hoping for a no waste week, and I was doing really good. But then I found an almost empty can of peaches that just didn't taste right. There were only couple of pieces left, and I have no idea why we didn't even finish it right away. But here it is:
I got this can on clearance for 49c, so I probably can safely say that we wasted no more than 5c. But it's not about how much we wasted, it's about why...Oh well, let's hope for a no-waste week next time.
Total spent this month: $118.94
Total saved: $56.60
Left to spend this month: $161.06
YTD spending: $394.15
YTD savings: $207.81
YTD coupons used : 46
YTD waste: $26.68
Wow, you are doing great!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debby! But there is always room for improvement here :)
Deleteyou are my inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteAwww..you are my inspiration!! You are a mom of 8, and I admire you all the time. I can barely handle 2, and on those days when I have 4 here, I usually pull my hair. You are awesome!
DeleteLooks like you had a good week if all you had were a few peaches that went to waste. Your Kroger can reminds me of when I used to live where their were Kroger grocery stores. I miss them.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the reason the peaches tasted "off" was because you stored them in an open tin can. Always decant to another container once open. : )
ReplyDeleteHTH!
