DeleteCute sign and I know just the place to hang it:). With it being Mother's Day tomorrow, I've been thinking of my mom who lives overseas. I only get to be with her every few years but I see her regularly with Skype. I know that you, Lena, are in the same situation. Happy Mother's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteRebekah

ReplyDeleteYou've come a long way my friend - I think I've been with you from the start (or soon after)! I'd say my mom was the most influential woman in my life as well as her mother. I wrote about my mom today - she showed me that a woman can really have it all - a family (5 kids and a husband) AND a career - she was a published author of many many stores in children's books and magazines. I admired her so much as a child for being so different from other moms. Thanks to her I realized i could do anything I wanted to!
ReplyDeleteLena, congratulations on reaching this milestone. Happy blogging!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! My mommy is my HERO! She is an amazing mom and wife! I love her dearly
ReplyDeletecongratulations on the milestone. My mum is my hero, and my idol and my best friend.
ReplyDeleteWow, 500! Beautiful sign. I hope it goes to a good home!
ReplyDeleteIt would have to have been my step father, he took in the three of us kids when we were not his and raised us as if we were. He passed away just over a year a go, 6 years after mom died. He never lost touch with us and we were at his bedside when he passed. The love this man had for us is something to strive for in our interactions with others... Daily...
ReplyDeleteMy husband.. He is incredible and makes me want to be a better person!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom! For being a supportive Mother at all times! She is helping through me going through another horrible divorce. I could not support my three children on my own without her prayers!
ReplyDeleteMy mom is the most influential person, she taught me to cook, sew and be frugal. We grew up very poor and never really knew it until I was older. I embrace living frugally now and enjoy living with less.

ReplyDeleteThe most influential person in my life is my mother. My father died unexpectedly when I was young but she still managed to work 2 jobs to pay the bills. I love her to pieces.

ReplyDeleteThe most influential person in my life was my dad. He was my best friend growing up and I knew I could always depend on him. He gave great advice, he made me laugh, and we had so much in common. He lost his battle with brain cancer in Decemeber 2012 after fighting it for 6 long years. Even throughout those 6 years, he had the most positive outlook on life. Every day I try to be more like him.
ReplyDeleteMy dad, he always worked so hard and still spent quality time with us kids.

My husband- He works so hard for our family and has been so supportive of me earning my degree.
ReplyDeleteMy 84 year old grandmother, who everyone calls "Nanny". She babysits her great grandchildren who are aged 10, 9, and 3, about 3-4 days out of the week. I don't know how she does it, but she says it's what keeps her going!
ReplyDeleteMy mom was the most influential person in my life. I was pretty close minded when I was younger as many are, but later on in life I realized she was right more times than I wanted to give her credit for :) She has passed but her grace and her calm words still guide me.
ReplyDeleteMy mom was the most influential person in my life. Not only did she teach me how to mother with kindness, compassion, selflessness, and humor, but she taught me how to spoil grandchildren!
