Today I decided to have a "me" day :) Kind of...
First, I cleaned the kitchen...Not that I like to clean it (or cleaning in general, really) but I like how it looks and smells when I'm done.
Second, I left my boys to hang out together and went for a nice walk with my neighbor. We covered about 4-5 miles and got in plenty of girl talk :)
After that I enjoyed a long-long shower...That is definitely a treat for Mom :)
Last but not least, I painted my toes :)
I don't know why I thought you would want to see my feet...I just didn't have a good picture for you today...Maybe, I should've taken a picture of my kitchen...Oh well :)

Good for you. Mom's need to have some me time. I just might have to get a pedi for myself today.

DeleteThat's great that you had a good walk. Cleaning is definitely a service to yourself, so you can be at peace next time you're in there. And I am sure your kitchen gets lots of usage!

I used to let my kids play together and sneak on a couch to take a nap :) Our house is small...and after a couple of minutes they would go look for me for some reason, and walk right past the living room and not see me...silly kids..ha..I think they weren't used to checking there.
Maybe, that's what I need to do with naps! My little one NEVER lets me take a nap! But then I've never tried to nap on the couch...Hmmm...
