Today was such an amazing day - blue skies, warm pleasant weather, fall leaves... So in the afternoon we decided to go to Silver Lake. At around 9000 ft. elevation, it's breathtaking but a little cold:
No words needed :) We had lovely time together, enjoyed some fresh air and God's beautiful creations. The best part is it's free!
And how was your Sunday??
That looks like an amazing place. Is it near to where you live?

Carol, it's about 40 minutes from our home, mostly driving up through the canyon :)
DeleteHow wonderful. Snow already too

I had to work on Sunday. Not my first choice, but it let other people enjoy some quiet time in the library. I'm glad you got to spend the day outdoors in some beautiful scenery. It's something you and your family needed.
ReplyDeleteHaving a quiet library is a must :)
DeleteI enjoy following your blog. I had a quiet Sunday. The weather was not good.we live in Northern Ireland.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope next week will be better for you! We will get some rain/possible snow in the middle of the week. That's why we tried to take advantage of a beautiful day :)
DeleteGlad you had a great day! You have a beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rachel :)
DeleteGreat photos, and what an awesome place. My dad has been wanting to go somewhere with mountains. Now I sort of want that too. Glad to hear you had a great time with the family. My Sunday was super quiet and I did absolutely nothing of value. Just like I like my days off! Nothing like a little vegetative state to restore the rest of the burnt out brain cells.
ReplyDeleteI love living closer to the mountains!
DeleteAnd it's nice to have a day when you do nothing once in a while :) Enjoy it!!
oh.my.gosh! It's absolutely stunning!!! What a wonderful way to spend your Sunday!!
ReplyDeleteIncredibly beautiful Lena and I so much like these lovely photos of your family. How fortunate you are to live near to this impressive area of the world. I totally agree doing nothing occasionally is essential!
ReplyDeleteI also found your post about your visit to see your mother really endearing. :-)
keep well
Amanda :-)
