I know it's been a while... You can't even imagine how many times I came here to write a post only to close the screen a few seconds later. It's not that I have nothing to write about. In fact, I've been creating "blogging schedules" for weeks now. But it seems like my world revolves around this pregnancy and nothing else is as important right now. I have a TON of doctors' appointments, every week is a new surprise or struggle. Nothing bad or serious but by the time I get home, I can barely drag my feet... I'm always always tired. I get fake contractions (Braxton hicks) every single day and some of them feel almost like the real deal when I can hardly catch my breath. We also had a small scare about two weeks ago but, thank goodness, everything was fine eventually and I'm back to normal...
I'm sorry if you are sick and tired of me talking about the babies... But this is my reality, take it or leave it, lol :)
Yep, 32 weeks with twins, measuring 41 (if I had only one there... what's 41 weeks in pregnancy even??) Keeping fingers crossed for at least 4 to 6 more healthy weeks...
OK, enough about me... HOW HAVE YOU BEEN????
Hope everything goes well for the birth if we don't hear from you before the event. Life at home is the most important and we will be here when you get back.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you all

You are going to be emaciated when those two get here. Just take it easy. We will hope for 4 more weeks. My sister had her twins 4 weeks early they weighed 5.6 lbs and went home the next day. Can ladies from the church bring in meals? Can someone help with house work? I wish I was closer. How far away are you? Some place in Oregon?
ReplyDeleteHi Lena. I've only recently started following your blog and I love it. Its great to hear how things are going. So much so that I've been frequently checking for updates wondering how things are. Glad you are still hanging in there!!! Keep plodding on a task at a time, they'll be here before you know it!! :-). Do hope all goes well when the time comes. Will try to keep you in my prayers. Sending hugs. Sharon.
ReplyDeleteOh wow look at you Lena! Glad to hear the babies are doing well. Not long to go and you will have two bundles of joy. Don't worry about housework and stuff, what matters is to stay well and comfortable until the twins come. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteLena, you look wonderful! I know you are probably feeling less than wonderful at times (pregnancy has it's ups and downs) but you really are doing so well. You have met all the challenges thrown your way head on and now you are nearing the finish line. I know you probably cant wait to meet those little munchkins- I'm sure all of your readers like me cant wait to meet them either. :) And I'll say it again- You look GREAT! That is how a lot of women look carrying just one baby and you have 2 of them wrestling around in there!
ReplyDeleteHang in there, my friend. Just keep your eyes on the prize and don't worry about not being able to post on your blog or anything. We will all be here to read whenever you are able to write something, but don't put any extra pressure on yourself. I'm sure everyone understands that you have a lot going on right now. :)
32 weeks. Tha'ts a good milestone. Here's hoping for a few more.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are carrying them so low. You look great!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everything is well, I have been thinking about you.
ReplyDeleteYou look great!

Wow! Just wow! Please sit down somewhere with your feet up. I'm exhausted for you just looking at your picture. (Though you do look lovely, albeit very pregnant) Fingers crossed for some uneventful gestational weeks.
ReplyDeleteVery glad you felt up to updating us. A lot of people really care about you and those babies!
ReplyDeleteboy, you must be so uncomfortable. Best of luck with everything, Lena. Fingers and toes crossed for you all. Cheers from Carole's Chatter
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear you are doing well. What a lovely shot of your beautiful pregnancy progress. Wishing you well and fingers crossed that you get a few more weeks of growing time!!

Blog about those babies all you want! Of course they are totally your life right now and for a VERY long time to come :) You look GREAT!!! and great to hear an update from you!
ReplyDeleteWow Lena you look fabulous!! And guess what - it IS all about you and your pregnancy right now and that's just fine with me and everyone else - NEVER apologize "my lovely" - it's YOUR blog and YOUR life and as you can see we are all still here waiting to see how you are doing. Keeping my fingers crossed for at least FOUR more good weeks!!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way at times and I'm not pregnant. Blog about your health and the pregnancy; I do wonder how you are doing. Good to know you are doing well, but sorry about those Braxton Hicks. Praying for 4-6 more weeks. Are you ready if you have to go on bedrest?
ReplyDeleteSo happy you are doing okay! I just got home from the hospital yesterday with my 2nd daughter so no matter how you are feeling it will go so fast! You and your family are in my prayers!

Lena, you look really well. I love to read about your family and how you're doing with the pregnancy so update when you are able to ..... get plenty of rest and put your feet up LOL Can't wait to see the first pics.
ReplyDeleteWe;re fine, Lena dear...I don't imagine we shall see you blogging much of anything for a good bit when the twins do get here. I think my dil made full term before her c-section with the twins. They are almost 3 (next month!) so it will all go fast.
ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely darling - love the big belly! You look like the twins could tip you over forward! LOL But take it easy and take care of you - everything else can wait. Nothing more important that your health and the health of those babies inside! Cannot wait to see them!! Will be keeping you in my daily prayers! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI love hearing about you and the babies. Take care and rest. And you look amazing, my butt looked like a couch cushion while I was pregnant with DJ. I was a mess!
ReplyDeleteLove the updates!! Have a great week!
