But these are my updates:
1. FINANCE
a)Stay within a budget. We got an extra doctor's appointment with my Hubby this month (Instant Care visit) but it looks like the insurance should cover most of our bill...I really hope so. Other than that we seem to be doing OK so far. Our food budget is a little tight but I think we'll make it. We still need to pay a little over $400 of medical bills that are on our credit card right now. We want to pay it off this month, that's why money is super tight. I also only babysat once this month so far, so I'm not bringing much money in either. I do deliver my diaper cake order tonight and I also have my first secret shopping assignment tomorrow but it's nothing comparing with our needs right now :( I guess, I'm wrong, it's better than nothing. So I'm optimistic!
b)Finally file our taxes. Not yet :( We had an appointment last Friday but because of the whole thing with Wells Fargo we rescheduled for next Friday, the 23rd.
c)Put all our expenses in our Excel budget file and have weekly money meetings with my husband. Well, we are working on it but there is still plenty of room for improvement.
2.DECLUTTERING
a) List stuff on KSL and Craigslist. Nah...we barely talked about it. I made pictures of some things but the biggest thing we want to sell is Kid's old bed set,a hutch and a desk from his room. It's all sitting in the garage, and I can't move it around by myself. And Hubby is just always too busy. Or sick this week...
b) Go through kids' clothes and maternity stuff. Didn't even touch it...
c) Organize our closet. Especially Hubby's side. I organized my clothes but I'm sick and tired of cleaning my husband's messes, so he is not his own there...
3.PERSONAL
Fit in a dress(click on it to see the original post). And look good in it! I'm getting there. I only lost 1/2 of a pound last week but the last few days I've been exercising for 20-40 minutes a day, and as of this morning, I lost another 2 pounds this week. I'm really excited!!! My Hubby actually fixed our exercise bike yesterday (it leaked battery acid inside, and he cleaned it), and after seeing how few calories I lost after 20 minutes on it, I will think twice next time I want a cookie...
So here it goes. How are your goals this month?
Quite like the idea of going online with my goals. Mine would include eating less in the evenings. I'm just fine in the day but get the munchies after 8. I wonder...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm working on those munchies right now too. I've been doing pretty good lately and eating a pear or an apple in the evening.
DeleteIsn't it frustrating how quickly an hours worth of excercise can be ruined with just a few bites of something delicious? I can't even imagine how long I would have to work out to burn off the calories from tomorrow nights fundraiser desserts. Guess I better work extra hard at the gym and run around the kitchen while my desserts are baking :)
ReplyDeleteDon't munch on anything on any desserts there while you are cooking :)...
DeleteJust get everyone better, Lena, and don't worry about the rest until that happens.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that your family had the flu. Ugh, it just seems to be going around! I hope everyone bounces completely back to normal soon. It can take a few days to get your energy going after being sick. We've had it going through our family over here, too. Good for you for keeping fitness goals in addition to everything else! I know it isn't easy. You'll get there, if you set your mind to it. When I've been trying to lose baby weight after a pregnancy, I've found that drinking a hot cup of tea while I'm in the kitchen cooking or baking something really helps keep me from snacking on whatever is in sight! I like to snack on whatever is in sight, too, just like you. It's fun! They do make lots of great teas, though, so I still feel like i'm having a treat. That helped me get and keep the weight off.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting things done but not what I planned on doing! HA March has been an odd month around here, or maybe I am in an odd mood this month. Good luck getting in that dress, I know you will rock it
ReplyDeleteI forgot to set goals this month but so far I have been doing well with finances, groceries, working out and studying! I think those would have been my goals haha. I organized my closet last weekend too, I feel so much better about it now!
ReplyDeleteWell done on the weight loss!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing good, you are heading in the right direction.
