But I feel drained today. As usual, I was trying to bite off a piece that was too big for me, attempting to do a million things in one day. Oh well, at least I finished some of them...
We didn't have much food waste this week. The only things that we threw away were two gross pears that got lost in the fridge. We usually like pears a lot, so it's a shame we didn't eat them.
And this week we are eating:
Mon.- leftovers
Tues.- Crockpot chicken and noodle soup (I don't know where the original recipe came from but I found it on Pinterest HERE. If you know who the original chef behind this recipe is, please, please, let me know so I can give proper credits)
Wed.- breakfast for dinner (bumped from last week)
Thurs.- hamburgers, sweet potato fries
Fr.- crockpot teriyaki chicken, rice, vegetable stir fry
Sat.- Church brunch/ Xmas dinner with best friend
Sun.- leftovers/ dinner with my sister (didn't happen last week because they were all sick)

I didn't want you to think that it was a fraudulent entry. And yes, I'm crazy like that. I would probably keep the card for my birthday present. I love Macy's and it would be a special treat. And since my birthday is the end of December I would get some awesome deals!

ReplyDeleteI was on bedrest with one of my kids, so nice that you can help your friend out! I was planning to put a pork roast in the crockpot and have supper ready when I got home - our power company decided to do some work in out neighborhood and have our power off today. So change of plans. Not sure what I would buy with a Macy's card. Probably give it to my oldest daughter, who never seems to have any extra money for fun...she could splurge on something for herself.
