Hey, everyone! How's your weekend been so far? I've been pretty busy here painting and organizing all the same time :) I'll share with you the latest projects I've been working on next week :)
And today I wanted to announce the winner of my giveaway:
But before I do, I just wanted to let you know how much I was touched by some of the stories of the most inspiring people in your life. These are just a few of them:
Misty Deatherage said:
It
would have to have been my step father, he took in the three of us kids
when we were not his and raised us as if we were. He passed away just
over a year a go, 6 years after mom died. He never lost touch with us
and we were at his bedside when he passed. The love this man had for us
is something to strive for in our interactions with others... Daily...

My grandmother. She went through being an abused girl, to a military
wife and mother teaching herself to sew all things and cook for all, to
becoming a grandmother and having her own very successful upholstery and
sewing business and creating the first food outreach program in our
little town. She was a avid church-member active in the board of
trustees and running programs there while she made food for the homeless
everyweek. She kind to all, but sassy and stubborn to those who get in
her way of making each day count and helping others while helping
herself and her family to a better way of life. She was not perfect, but
she was an angel on Earth.
Shannon F shared:
The
most influential person in my life was my dad. He was my best friend
growing up and I knew I could always depend on him. He gave great
advice, he made me laugh, and we had so much in common. He lost his
battle with brain cancer in December 2012 after fighting it for 6 long
years. Even throughout those 6 years, he had the most positive outlook
on life. Every day I try to be more like him.
Or this one from Sue Hull:
My mom and sisters. When I had cancer in 2011 they did all my
cooking, cleaning and just loved me through my journey. My faith in God is
also what got me through it.God is so good!
These are just a few amazing and inspiring stories. Thank you all for sharing!
OK, I know you can't wait for the big announcement :) Drum rolls, please...
