Twenty ways in 20 days, Day 16. Sleep...

Something that made me very happy today is pretty simple: getting a good nights sleep!! Yesterday, when we came home from my sister's, I felt so tired that I just crashed at 10. It's pretty unusual for me. I usually go to bed close to midnight. I know, it's pretty unhealthy, and I'm trying to brake this habit, half an hour at a time. There is just always so much to do after the kids go to bed...

Last night I slept for 9 hours. Can't even remember the last time it happened before. I felt amazing today and achieved tons (including the bazillion loads of laundry and ironing that I wrote about in my previous post :). On this note, I'm going to finish this post and go to bed...:)

Do you go to bed early or late? Do you make a good night sleep a priority in your life?

  1. That is great that you got such a good nights sleep!
I have become a night owl, I am usually up until 2 or 3 am sometimes later but I will also sleep in until 9 or 10 am when I can. It is a horrible habit that I should try and break.

  3. I make sleep somewhat of a priority because I feel awful if I don't get enough. However, now that it starts getting light at 5:30 AM, it's hard to get enough. I need to go to bed earlier.

    1. I feel awful too...especially when kids have their own schedule on when they want to wake up in the morning...

  4. I normally sleep between 9:30 and 11. The thing that makes the difference is whether my friends feel particularly chatty. Having friends all over the world means different timezones means people get chatty at all odd times, including 3am!

  6. Lately I have been on a wacky schedule and I hope to soon get a bit more normal. Last night I went to sleep at 830 and woke up at 130. 5 hours seems to be enough

  7. I am guilty of sleeping late too, although I am trying to do better.

  8. Staying up til 11 is late for me. It's amazing how we all have different sleeping patterns...
